âDon and Joyce Blyth started their collection in the 1950s, before antiques were a thing,â said Ethan Miller of Miller & Miller Auctions, Ltd. âDon found the treasure map of his gun collection shortly after WWII. It was in the form of a wartime gun registry. He used it to recovering his rarest weapons, and that set the stage for Gooding’s book.

Miller added, âWhether it’s artwork from the Group of Seven, a carrier pigeon or a Colt Dragoon, Don has collected it. Now others will have the chance to own what he and his wife Joyce have treasured their entire lives. There will be no in-person auction, but bidders can tune into the live webcast on the Miller & Miller Auctions website on October 9 to see lots close in real time.
