TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / Aug 23, 2021 / Mogul Productions, the decentralized film financing platform (DeFiFi) and cinematographic NFT, today announced its partnership with Media Bungalow. Bungalow will work with Mogul to fund content and engage fans using blockchain technology.

Bungalow Media will use its extensive network within Hollywood to source and submit high quality, commercially viable film projects to the Mogul platform. Films submitted to Mogul will be evaluated for placement in Mogul’s Showcase, where STARS token holders can vote to determine which projects receive funding, while also earning unique rewards and experiences through the platform.

Bungalow Media is directed by Phillip B. Goldfine, producer of the Oscar-winning documentary The lady at number 6: music saved my life, and Emmy-winning writer from El Vácilon. He is joined at the helm by Kevin Weisberg, executive producer of The river flows red and the next one All i want for christmas.

“We are delighted to be at the forefront of this revolutionary development bringing together blockchain technology with the film industry,” said Goldfine. “The decentralization and democratization of cinema is one of the greatest advances Hollywood has seen in decades, and Bungalow Media is delighted to produce the films that will reap these awards!”

“Mogul is delighted to welcome Bungalow Media to Mogul’s list of partners,” said Lisa Sun, President of Mogul Productions. “Mogul is creating a two-way market for entertainment-based blockchain content; integrating esteemed groups like Bungalow, which have an incredible number of connections and high-quality content, will help us continue to provide top-notch opportunities for Mogul users. “

The first list of films, as shown in the Mogul Showcase, in the partnership are Terminal station, by director Keoni Waxman (Shooting Gallery, Mercenary: Absolution), MR-9 by director Asif Akbar (Le Commando), and Devilreaux, by director Thomas Churchill (Check Point, The Amityville Harvest).
