Jane and her late husband, Edward “Bud”, had lived permanently in the countryside of Monticello, IN, coming from Burnham and Chicago, IL, after their retirement. She was a den mother to Cubs, active in the PTA, the church choir, and very dedicated to her church and community. Jane and her late husband, Bud, made a great dance team and floated the dance floor together. She loved sewing, knitting and especially baking. Jane had worked at Illinois Bell Telephone Company, Edward C. Minas Company and Equitable Life Assurance Company. She welcomed everyone to her home, the more the merrier! Jane was very fond of animals and welcomed stray animals into her home by providing them with food and shelter. She and Bud were a team in every effort, including on their 25th wedding anniversary, laying cinder blocks for the foundation of their current home. Jane was an avid reader and particularly enjoyed reading about European history. She enjoyed traveling and spending her winters in Southwest Florida during her retirement years. Jane pursued her interests during her retirement, including painting, auctions, garage sales, and many crafts. She has dedicated her life to caring for her husband, children and grandchildren.

Jane will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Commemorative contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association in his memory would be appreciated.
