Designed to rival Denver’s outdoor music venues, Notes Live, a rapidly growing hospitality and entertainment company, will open The Sunset, a state-of-the-art outdoor amphitheater that seats 8,000 in the Polaris Pointe development in Colorado Springs in 2023. Supported with $40 million in funding, the new concert hall will host the nation’s biggest tours.

Designed by acclaimed architect BCA Studios, The Sunset will feature stunning views of the sunset over Pikes Peak, America’s Mountain, just behind the stage at the start of each concert, flanked by the United States Air Force Academy stadium on the left and the iconic Air Force Chapel on the right, as well as amenities such as 60 luxury VIP suites with fireplaces and 4-5 star restaurants.

Notes Live currently has the support of over 60 institutional and retail investors. The company works closely with government authorities in all regions where it develops and is keen to identify markets where local municipalities have economic development dollars to subsidize development costs directly or through tax incentives. Architectural firm BCA Studios has brought together top lighting, sound and design companies across the country, who have helped design iconic live entertainment venues like the Beacon Theater in New York, the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, the Roundhouse in London and the Steppenwolf Theatre. in Chicago and has worked in sports arenas and stadiums for NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and MLS teams across the country. Companies Notes Live works with include CD+M Lighting Design Group, Dimensional Innovations, Diversified, Duray JF Duncan Industries, ME Engineers and Theater Projects.

Notes Live identifies markets in areas with growing populations but lacks high-quality music and entertainment venues, and delivers premium concert experiences, with unbeatable sound and sight lines, and a high in food and drink.

“These are some of the fastest growing cities in America, but live entertainment options haven’t caught up with the population,” says Notes Live Founder and President JW Roth. “Notes Live rooms will cater to those high-end demographics looking for a place where the overall experience is as good as the music itself.”

Roth first realized his vision of unbeatable music meeting a world-class atmosphere with the Boot Barn Hall concert venue, located on the same Colorado Springs campus as his Bourbon Brothers and Buttermilk restaurants, A Breakfast Eatery. Since opening in February 2019, Boot Barn Hall has quickly become one of Colorado’s premier live music venues, reserving a mix of country and classic rock acts for the upscale population that has moved to the area. . Roth’s attention to detail informs every decision made in its concert halls, from the tables – all custom-designed raised tables for optimal line of sight, whether the attendee wants to sit or stand – to the sound systems at state-of-the-art technology designed by Martin. “People know that I push boundaries, that’s just what I do,” he says. “I want it to be perfect, and I want that perfection to translate into everything we do.”

Now Notes Live is building on its initial success with an upcoming slate of new entertainment campuses across the South and West. In addition to The Sunset, the company will soon open another Boot Barn/Bourbon Brothers concept-inspired venue in the booming suburban town of Gainesville, Georgia outside of Atlanta, and is in advanced talks with d other cities in Florida, Tennessee and Texas. .

“I’m building an entertainment company that when you think of our name makes you think of ‘experience,’” says Roth. “There will be no better place to see a concert on earth than at one of our properties.”
